Embarking on his 12th season in the Sal’s NBL, Barrow won an NBL Championship with the Auckland Pirates in 2012 and has since played 149 NBL Games. Played 19 games for the Tuatara last season averaging 4.3 points and 2.3 rebounds per game.
Selected for the NZ Police team in 2019 that attend the Australasian Police Basketball Tournament in Canberra where he was named to the All-Star Five.
He was on the Counties Manukau team that won the U23 National Championship title in 2014 playing alongside Derone Raukawa and Shea Ili.

Charlie Dalton

Scored a career high 12 points in the opening game of the season at Nelson Giants.
Will be commencing a basketball scholarship at Concordia University (NCAA Division II) later this year – the same university team mate Cam Gliddon enjoyed a stellar career at.
Captained Rosmini College, the 2022 Secondary Schools National Championship Grand Finalists – named to the Tournament Team.

Dalton is also an outstanding volleyball player. Represented NZ at the 2022 U19 Beach Volleyball World Championships in Turkey .

Reuben Fitzgerald

Fitzgerald played 10 games for the Tuatara in 2022. Also played for the Tuatara at the 2022 Schick 3×3 Cup.
Named to the Tournament Team at the 2021 U23 National Championships helping Harbour to a third place finish.
Studying Law and Biology at Auckland University.
Fitzgerald was also a First XI cricketer at Westlake Boys.

Conor Flanagan

Following his senior year at Auckland Grammar School in 2016 Flanagan played three years at the University of West Florida (NCAA Division II).
After initially redshirting Flanagan went on to play 71 games for the Argonauts before graduating in 2022.
A multisport athlete Flanagan was a member of the NZ U17 national championship swim team in 2015.

Cam Gliddon (Import)

Played 18 games for the Rams in 2019 averaging 14.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game – named to the NBL All-Star Five.
A veteran of over 300 games in the Australian NBL since debuting for Cairns Taipans in 2012. Played 5 seasons with the Taipans, 2 each with Brisbane Bullets and South East Melbourne Phoenix and most recently with the NZ Breakers.
Played on the Australian Boomers Gold Medal winning teams at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and 2017 FIBA Asia Cup.
Enjoyed a 4-year NAIA Division I career at Concordia University (2008-2012). Led the Eagles to the NAIA National title in his senior year – named to the All-NAIA First Team.

Joe Lawson (Import)

Joins the Tuatara after recently playing in Rumania for Arges Pitesti – the same club Sharks forward Josh Cunningham played for – where he averaged 8.2 points and 3.3 rebounds.
Prior to that he played in Uruguay for Hebraica Macabi Montevideo. Lawson has also played in Finland, Mexico and Germany where he spent his first five seasons as a professional player.
Played two years at Indiana University Southeast (NAIA) and a further two years at the University of Indianapolis (NCAA Div 2). Averaged 19.2 points and 7.1 rebounds in his senior year (2014-15).
Competed in basketball, football and cross country at high school.

Will Leger

The power forward is the younger brother of Jets player Josh Leger and a cousin of Krystal and Charlisse Leger-Walker.
Currently studying Sports Science at AUT.

Enjoyed an outstanding 2022 NBL season averaging 17.1 points and 11.5 rebounds as the Tuatara marched all the way to the Grand Final. Received the Stan Hill Trophy for the Most Outstanding New Zealand Forward, an award he also picked up when winning an NBL title with the Wellington Saints in 2019.
In addition to playing over 130 Australian NBL games in a six year career with the New Zealand Breakers Loe has played overseas in Australia, Belgium, Greece and Japan.
Made his Tall Blacks debut in 2009 and went on to cement his place as the starting centre at both the 2014 FIBA World Cup in Spain and the 2019 event in China. Averaged 11.0 points and 4.8 rebounds per game in China where he also scored at 52% (12/23) from beyond the arc.
Was a member of the bronze medal winning team at the 2018 Commonwealth Games averaging 9.4ppg and 5.0rpg.
Despite being the youngest member of the team he was the leading scorer (averaging 18.8ppg) for New Zealand at the 2009 FIBA U19 World Cup in Auckland.

Having attended Kingsway School he played his early representative basketball for Hibiscus Coast before switching to North Harbour where he won an U23 National Championship title in 2016.

Kruz Perrott-Hunt

Enjoyed an outstanding 4-year career at the University of South Dakota scoring 1,104 points in 108 games for the Coyotes. Kirk Penney, Callum McRae, Tai Webster, Craig Bradshaw and Flynn Cameron are the only other Kiwis to have scored over 1,000 points in NCAA Division I Men’s basketball.
Averaged a team high 14.3 points per game in his senior year (2022-23). Shot 42% (58/137) from beyond the 3-point arc and 84% (66/79) from the free-throw line.
Prior to college won back to back Secondary Schools National Championships with Rosmini College (2017 and 2018).

Reuben Te Rangi

He played his first season in the New Zealand NBL for the Harbour Heat as a 17 year old and has since won a championship with the Sharks in 2013 and the Saints in 2019.
Joined the New Zealand Breakers in 2012 winning Australian NBL titles with the club in both 2013 and 2015. Has since played for the Brisbane Bullets and South East Melbourne Phoenix.
Just 28 years-old Te Rangi has already logged over 300 games in the Australian NBL and 150 games in the Sal’s NBL.
Debuted for the Tall Blacks in 2013 and has since made 52 appearances in the black singlet – 17 as captain. Was a member of the bronze medal winning team at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.

Coming off an Australian NBL season where he played all 31 games for Tasmania Jack Jumpers averaging 3.7 points per game. Made 29 from 62 three-pointers at 46.8%.
“Agent ‘97” last played in the Sal’s NBL for Southland Sharks in 2020, previously winning a championship with the club in 2018 – that season named to the All-Star Five.
Has played 12 seasons in the Australian NBL having stints with Sydney Kings, Illawarra Hawks, Cairns Taipans and New Zealand Breakers prior to the Jack Jumpers.
Played 2 FIBA World Cup Qualifying games for the Australian Boomers in 2019.

Thomas Whyte

Following his senior year at Auckland Grammar School in 2017 Whyte attended St Thomas More prep school.
Played three years NCAA Division II at Assumption University (2019-22) in Worcester, Massachusetts.
In 2019 played 3×3 for New Zealand at both the FIBA U18 Asia Cup and the Youth Olympics in Buenos Aire – the Asia Cup team were Gold medalists.
