INJURY UPDATE
EJ Singler (Hawks) - is back in full training and booked on the plane to Christchurch.
Daniel Kickert (Hawks) - remains in Australia and is almost certainly out of the Hawks line-up.
TEAM NEWS
HAWKS - the Hawks players are all back in Napier and preparing for the Final 4. This includes the players who travelled to Tasmania for last Saturday night's game. EJ Singler is back on court, but Daniel Kickert remains in Australia and is almost definitely out of the Final 4. The Hawks don't fly out until 11:45am on Friday and will be the last team to arrive into Christchurch.
SAINTS - the Saints got through Sunday's win in Auckland without any issues and will return to training tomorrow. The unbeaten title favourites all look fit and healthy ahead of their game with the Sharks. No selection dilemmas either, it looks certain Tom Abercrombie will keep coming off the bench and support a starting five that has been locked in place since the first game of the season. The 18-0 Saints could not possibly be in better shape ahead of the Final 4.
SHARKS - another huge win for the Sharks last night at home against the Jets. The Sharks finish the regular season with two big wins and looked prime to have a big crack at the Saints on Saturday afternoon. Jarrad Weeks has been on fire the last two rounds after a one round absence, while the form of Hyrum Harris and Dom Kelman-Poto continues to grow rapidly. The Sharks are yet to decide on their final 12-player squad for the Semi Final with a decision not expected to be reached until later in the week.
RAMS - all quiet in Christchurch as the Rams prepare for their game on Saturday night against the Hawks. Of the four finalists the Rams will enjoy the biggest break, having finished their regular season last Thursday night. Mind you, the starting five for the Hawks did the same by virtue of not travelling to Tasmania.
