Hawke’s Bay Basketball Foundation Inc.
Hawke’s Bay Basketball Foundation Inc is a community based, charity organisation with a vision of developing Basketball within the greater Hawke’s Bay Region. The key objectives of the organisation are to promote and develop all high-performance levels of basketball, provide player pathways, and work within the region to deliver training programmes for players and coaches, particularly in schools. The development of Basketall within the region is promoted and facilitated through developing the Hawke’s Bay Hawks and entering a competitive team to represent our region in the NZNBL Competitions.
The Hawke’s Bay Basketball foundation Inc. is looking for an Head Coach of Taylor Hawks Men’s National Basketball League (NBL) team. This is an ideal opportunity for you to work in an exciting team environment. The ‘Taylor Hawks’ are a well performing provincial franchise, who have made their presence felt on the national stage over the last couple of years. Hawke’s Bay Basketball Foundation Inc are looking for an individual to continue to build on this momentum, with a focus on positive team culture. Hawke’s Bay is experiencing significant growth in Basketball. Team and player development are supported through a strong community focus. Although this position is tagged to the 2022 NZNBL Season, the organisation are seeking an applicant who has a strategic vision for the team and development of basketball in Hawke’s Bay. There is an opportunity for a multiple season contract.

Hawke’s Bay Basketball Foundation Inc are seeking a proactive and dynamic General Manager to manage and develop the organisaion into the future. They will report to a the governing Board of Directors and will be responsible for the recruitment and management of the organisations staff and volunteers. Basketball is experiencing significant growth nationwide and within the Hawke’s Bay Region. This environment presents significant opportunities for the organisation to build on the strengths within Hawke’s Bay and facilitate this growth.
