Corey Webster's long awaited return to the Sal's NBL was, well, worth that wait. He contributed in every facet of a professional win for the out-of-form Franklin Bulls over the in-form Nelson Giants.
The 83-time Tall Black poured in 31 points, pulled in 7 boards, and dished out 7 assists as the Bulls came back from a slow start to execute a well put together game-plan from coach Morgan Maskell.
The Giants vaunted defence was effective, but the Nelsonians couldn't produce on the offensive end, with the Bulls homework proving fruitful as they kept the Giants import duo of Trey Mourning and Jarrod West quiet.
Meanwhile, Jayden Bezzant (15pts, 7-11fg) was an efficient and deadly wingman for Webster, while Leon Henry played the role of enforcer as only he can.
For the Bulls, who had been on a 4 game losing skid, the win catapults them back into the playoff conversation, and brings the Giants back to the pack.
