The Sal's NBL 2020 championship decider will be played on Friday July 24.
With the 2020 Summer Olympics set to start on Saturday July 25, the decision is based on ensuring fans at the game and viewers around the country can enjoy the biggest game of the season and maximise a weekend sure to be dominated by sport.
Sky Sport will broadcast the Sal's NBL Grand Final with the game set to be played on the home court of the highest-placed team coming out of the Semi Finals.
"We're looking forward to starting the Olympics' party a day earlier and delivering some fantastic Sal's NBL action to get everyone in the mood for what will be a huge two weeks in Japan, hopefully where we will also see the Tall Blacks in action," said NBL General Manager, Justin Nelson.
