The Sal's NBL is pleased to announce the Broadcast Schedule for the 2021 season, the League's 40th year.
The season will feature all 93 games being broadcast by Sky Sport, with select games also being made available on Sky Sport Next, Stuff, Tribe Sports and the NZNBL website.
Prime TV will show delayed broadcasts on Thursday nights, while internationally ESPN3 will broadcast all games across the United States, with the NZNBLpass once again being available to viewers in all other parts of the world.
"Season 2021 will be the biggest year yet for the Sal's NBL being broadcast both here in New Zealand and to all parts of the world, so we are very excited that in our 40th year the competition will receive more exposure than ever before," said League General Manager, Justin Nelson.
"Coverage to this level doesn't just happen, we are very fortunate to have forged strong and productive partnerships with all of our broadcast and media partners, in particular with Sky Sport and the wonderful team led by Sophie Moloney.
"We thank all of our partners for getting behind the League and New Zealand basketball at a time of extraordinary growth for the game.
"I sincerely hope basketball fans across New Zealand, along with our teams and players, recognise our commitment to broadcasting every game. Between the Sal's NBL and Schick 3X3 season, this year together with Sky Sport we will broadcast 234 games of men's and women's basketball, plus two live player drafts.
"Pardon the language, but that's bloody massive!"
The 2021 Sal's NBL men's season tips off on Saturday April 24 when the Go Media Otago Nuggets host the Wellington Saints.
