The Taranaki Steelformers Mountainairs have added a second import, announcing former Molloy University star Curtis Jenkins a day after 6'11' centre Adrian Forbes was unveiled.
Jenkins' senior year at Molloy ended with plenty of awards, including East Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Year, All-ECC First Team and All-Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association First Team.
The athletic guard started all 31 games in his senior year, averaging 18.2 points and 7.8 rebounds per game, while adding 107 assists.
Coach Willie Banks is looking for an exciting and athletic backcourt and Curtis is just the right player for the first-time Head Coach.
The Airs have now confirmed three players - Curtis Jenkins, Adrian Forbes, Aaron Bailey-Nowell.
