The Sal’s NBL will reach a thrilling conclusion on Sunday evening, when the Cigna Wellington Saints and Taylor Hawke’s Bay Hawks battle it out for the 2019 title, and the league has decided to make it entry free for all juniors aged 18 years and under.
“We want to say a big thank you to the fans and in particular to all the juniors,” said Sal's NBL GM Justin Nelson.
“We know the Rams won’t be there but we want Christchurch to get right behind the biggest game of the season, so what better way than to let the juniors in for free.”
All juniors aged 18 years and under can pick up a free ticket at Horncastle Arena, while adult tickets will be available for $23.
Entry includes two games, the Steven Adams Boy's High School Invitational at 3:10pm, followed by Grand Finals between the Saints and Hawks at 6:30pm.
“If you love basketball or need to escape the bad weather and finish the school holidays on a high, bring the family and enjoy your day watching some of the very best players from across New Zealand and around the world,” added Nelson.
*The free entry offer is only available for juniors aged 18 years and under, and only at the door. All adult tickets cost $23.
