With just over two weeks until the Sal’s NBL season commences, the league has announced a partnership with a new weekly podcast - Limited Minutes.
In a strategic partnership with the SKYCITY Breakers, the podcast will cover all the latest news in the Sal’s NBL, including interviews with players and coaches, while also focusing on the off-season news and player updates for the Breakers.
Limited Minutes will come out every Tuesday morning, starting next Tuesday April 2nd, two weeks prior to the season tip off with a couple of preview episodes of the 2019 season.
Hosted by SKY Sport’s Huw Beynon and Andrew Price from the SKYCITY Breakers, Limited Minutes will be the Official Podcast of the Sal’s NBL.
“Limited Minutes is another positive and progressive step forward for the league,” said General Manager Justin Nelson, adding “We’re looking forward to forging a strong partnership with the Breakers and working with them to provide great basketball coverage, year round.”
“Andrew and his team pitched the idea of a weekly podcast to us, and the timing was great given we are focused on delivering higher levels of engagement and coverage to the fans.
“I think you can expect a great insight into the league each week,” Nelson added.
The team behind Limited Minutes is looking forward to launching the podcast and providing basketball fans with the latest Sal’s NBL news, interviews and guests from around the league and the wider New Zealand basketball community, plus regular updates on the NZ Breakers.
“With the appetite for basketball content growing year on year, our partnership with BBNZ to help cover New Zealand’s premier basketball league is an exciting one. We’re looking forward to providing a fresh, fun and engaging way to stay up to date with the Sal’s NBL.” said Andrew Price.
Limited Minutes episodes will be available for download across all podcast platforms every Tuesday morning, starting April 2nd.
